About us

We are an independent, non-denominational assembly of Christians. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that salvation and forgiveness of sins is by grace, through faith, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8). We believe in gathering simply to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the principles and practices laid out in the New Testament.

What we believe

Here is a brief, non-comprehensive summary of our beliefs:

1. 1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, all-sufficient Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
2. 2. We believe that all of mankind are sinners by nature and by practice, and that we cannot save ourselves (Romans 3:23).
3. 3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the sinless, impeccable Son of God, who came into the world to die for our sins (1 Timothy 1:15, 1 John 2:2). We believe that He was buried and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4), and that He will return to receive His own unto Himself (John 14:1-3).
4. 4. We believe that salvation from sins is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
5. 5. We believe in baptism of believers only, by total immersion (Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:3-5).
6. 6. We believe in observing the Lord's Supper weekly, on the first day of the week, (1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Acts 2:42; Acts 20:7).
7. 7. We believe in the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:5,9).
8. 8. We believe in the visible acknowledgement of the headship of Christ in assembly gatherings (1 Corinthians 11:1-15).
9. 9. We also believe that the local church, or assembly, is autonomous, each accountable to God. We seek to have fellowship with like-minded assemblies in the area, throughout the country, and across the world.
